Yahoo, Google and Microsoft are great, but what happens if you really like Yahoo News and you’re more of a Google Local person for finding phone numbers and directions? You’re going to be flipping back and forth forever.

My company just launched the public beta of Tappity this week ( http://www.tappity.com ), which is a user driven site where you can submit, rate, and discover mobile-friendly web pages. Tappity’s social bookmarking and rating system allows the Users to decide the future of Mobile Search, instead of a corporation, who would put their affiliations and internal products ahead of what the community desires.

In addition, you can save favorite items to a mobile homepage that’s personalized just for you.

Good luck with tappity, there is definitely a market for it.
