Google recently launched the Google Apps Premier Edition. The pack is aimed at small businesses, and makes it possible for them to move their offices online.
The details can be found here.
Google would be charging $50/user account/year for this, though if you look closely, for those $50 you would get 8 GB extra and the ability to integrate API’s with your existing systems.
Besides I don’t quite understand, why would one prefer to move everything online rather than having it right here on the desktops. Especially here in India, where the internet connections are not as reliable as we would like them to be, unless ofcourse you own a leased line or something. Even then I wouldn’t really be betting on the internet.
So on the whole, I dont see Google Apps providing with more value than what is already available, so I don’t think there would be too many takers.
