Here is another job portal, which they claim is a third generation job portal.

Now what is a third generation job portal? It is one which allows companies to cross check references and details provided by people in the resume, to check any fake resumes running around. This site is called Mohan Choti

To be frank there is something wrong with this whole idea. I read about on the venture woods, which consistently come out with great posts. But maybe not this time. This is basically why I think.

As an end user, what value does a job portal give me, if I have to start out by proving in the first place that I am not lying. Why would I go to such a site?
Doesn’t it give everybody else an advantage.
