How big do you reckon the coaching industry is in India? According to ET it is close to 5000 crore

Industry estimates note IIT coaching accounts for Rs 500 crore, MBA for Rs 300 crore, medical entances for 250 crore and civil services for Rs 200 crore. Ritesh Hemrajani, director, Applect Learning systems, an IMS subsidiary, says, “Coaching for entrance exams itself could be estimated at Rs 1,500 crore.
