Bermuda just lost to Bangladesh by 7 wickets and India is now completely out of the World Cup 2007.

Due to rain, the gain was reduced to 21 overs, in which Bangladesh had to 96 to win.

Bermuda did have a good start, when they got the first wicket with just 7 runs on the board. The second and third wicket fell as 30 and 37. But that was it. Some missed catches, and a lot of extra let Bangladesh take away the game.

Hasan (26*) and Ashraful (29*) carried bangladesh home.

It wasn’t that bad after all. Bermuda did pick up a few early wickets. When the mightly (read expensive) Indian cricket team couldn’t pull it off against Bangladesh, Bermuda never really stood a chance.

Maybe Bangladesh would go on to win the world cup, like India had done in 1983.
