Keeping up with what is showing on the hundreds of channels is a herculian task. It gets even more disturbing when you favorite show changes its broadcast time. It takes time to match your schedule with that of the television, and it really hurts when they just change the time. Besides its really difficult to find out what is the new time when it would be aired.
Now that would not be all that difficult anymore. MediaE2E is launching a service called zipazap, where you would be able to find listing for every Indian TV channel. I follow the listing of Star Movies and HBO already on their websites, because movies are all that I see on the internet, but now it would be possible to do it for all the channels at the same place.
Along with the listings, you would also be able to update your views on every programme which is aired. I am not sure if you can give feedback about each episode or not, but well it would really be quite interesting to see if we see any great comments there. I hope it’s not as sad as the ones usually found at CNN-IBN etc.
The company also has plans to get this up and running on a number of different platforms, so to say. Even though the only other platform is unluckily the mobile. So all of this would be available on WAP (your GPRS enabled mobile phone).
The only question which remains is, would it also show which movies are playing in my city along with it, and how about the cartoons as well as sudoku and crossword. Watching the listings is no fun, how about getting the whole shebang up there.
