A new google tool is out. It’s called the google gapminder.

The Gapminder is a graphical plot of a demographic variable against time and country. For example take a look at the link below.
Number of Internet users per 1000 people

This clips shows the number of internet users per 1000 people, per country from 1965 to the present time. You can observe the internet explosion after the 90’s. Another striking thing which you see is that India and China, have the largest spots on the map, yet have a strikingly lower number of internet users.

It is this demographic which the global markets are now addressing. In the forth coming years, the marketers will keep focusing on the big dots, which are not red.

It looks like an interesting tool, but I am not sure how useful it would be. Any ideas?
