It wasn’t going to be long before one of the major mobile vendors would give you the ability to store you mobile data. Hutch, is seems has taken the lead in the segment. According to CNN-IBN, Hutch has offered it’s clients the ability to backup the data on your mobile for Rs 50 a month.
The service would be applicable to both GPRS-enabled and non-GPRS enabled mobile phones. The data on the GPRS enabled phones would be automatically sychronized on the Hutch servers, after a client chooses to enable the service. This service would be available for Rs 50 a month.
On non-GPRS enabled phones, the service would be enabled using SMS. However, every time you update your address book, you might have to message the same to the company. This service is available at Rs 30 per month.
The backup would include the address book, mobile games, photos, videos, SMS, MMS etc.
