Intel Capital, the venture capital arm of chip maker Intel, has appointed Sudheer Kuppam as managing director for India, Japan, Australasia and South-East Asia. Kuppam replaces Kumar Shiralagi, who moved as MD of NEA IndoUS Vetures.
Kuppam, formerly a director of Intel Capital’s Flash Memory & Semiconductor sector, will be based out of Bangalore. He will be essentially responsible for leading Intel Capital’s investment strategies and expansion plans in India including the placement of a $250 million India Technology Fund. He will report to Arvind Sodhani, president, Intel Capital.
The question that keeps coming to my mind is why is India’s Digital News Monitor published in USA?
