2. Kiran Karnik to quit Nasscom
Kiran Karnik is on his way out as President of Indian IT industry association Nasscom. Apparently, Karnik’s exit is seen in the context of Nasscom’s continuing decline in the lobbying power within the government.Karnik, who was earlier head of Discovery channel in India, joined Nasscom following the death of Dewang Mehta, Nasscom’s founding president, in 2001. Late last year, Nasscom’s Vice President Sunil Mehta had passed away following a heart attack. So there is none within Nasscom to succeed Karnik.

3. Online Ad Network Komli.com receives funding
Online Ad network Komli.com has received an investment from two leading venture capital firms Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Helion Venture Partners. Following the investment, the company has launched Komli Premium Network that helps marketers interact online with consumers in a more targeted and rich way.
4. Edulogicx introduces Educard
Bangalore based Edulogicx India, the knowledge network service provider, has introduced a range of innovative cards named as ‘Educards’ to make entrance examinations a lot easier. The products range from Rs 1500 to Rs 3000.
