There comes a time in every startup, when it is time to buy a server. Usually it takes a little long, unless ofcourse you have somebody backing you up with a lot of money. So to cater to the small and medium businesses, HP has launched a new server.

The HP Proliant ML115 server, with AMD-Opteron processor, is available at a price tag of about Rs 35,000, the company said here on Wednesday. The HP Proliant ML115 server comes with a standard memory capacity of 512 MB, which is expandable to 8GB.
According to IDC, the server market in India in 2006 was 1 lakh units. The Indian market for x86 servers in 2007 is estimated to be about $500 million.

It waits to be seen how well does it do in the market. All ideas are great, it is just the execution, the final product and tonnes of luck which make the difference.
