S Gopalakrishnan (Kris), the current COO of Infosys Technologies is all set to take over the hot spot of the company CEO from June 22. He follows in the footsteps of Nandan Nilenkani, who became the CEO in 2002. Nilenkani has been elevated to co-chairman.
On the announcement, Narayan Murthy said
Kris is gentle but firm, consultative yet decisive and thoughtful yet action-oriented. Shibulal is smart, focused, detailed and target-oriented. I am sure Nandan, Kris and Shibu will together perform extremely well with the high performance team they have.
