Proto.in, the launchpad for upcoming startup companies, is back again in July for a second edition. The event is scheduled to be held from July 21-22. The first edition was organized in January this year.
The time the event is expected to be bigger and better. The event would be open for other Asian countries, plus there would be many more VC firms, including Sequoia, Clearstone Ventures, Canaan, NEA-IndoUS Ventures, Gabriel Ventures, Mentor Partners, Ventureast, SVB, Plus Ventures, Matrix Partners, FootPrint Ventures & Bluerun Ventures.
Do read the comments that follow too. Some people have been slamming the organizers for falsely claiming that they are ‘not-for-profit’. However, I don’t agree that for a bi-annual event, even a ‘not-for-profit’ company should spend everything they have raised. They are all entrepreneurs, and planning for the bad days, in hidden in their genes.
But yet, even they would agree that some sort of transparency is necessary, (because getting slammed for financial irregularity is not the best way to promote your event)

I wonder if it’s the same person, because if it is, then I must add that it must be really difficult to be running two great blogs at a time. But if not, I would like to know which one has copied?
