There have been no posts over the last one month or so because I’ve been busy trying out new stuff. Other than thinking about adding more features to mbakarma.com, I spent a lot of time watching TV. And no, I have not been watching the usual ghost stories on Aaj Tak nor the bindas movies on Filmy, I have been hooked to Hungama, the cartoon channel which shows ShengShang.
If you’ve never seen it before, you have really missed out something in life. He is the cute (umm..) little boy next door, who is more like the Japanese version of Dennis the Menace. Only the dubbing is so awesome that you find yourself glued to the TV. I really would need to podcast to show why his voice has captured million of kids (and people like me).
So today, I decided to come back to blogging, and the first thing that pops up in my mind, is why doesn’t ShengShang advertise for me…
If Sharukh Khan and John Abraham can be called ‘Uncle’ on the telly, why can’t this little weirdo called ShengShang advertise my products.
One would say that cartoons are limited only to kids, and it might not reach the audience that you are targeting. But, based on experience, I know that it’s not just me who’s hooked, I can talk about the ShengShang stories to a lot of my friends, who follow it too, almost like Mom can talk about the latest Sas-bahu serial.
After all, even the Sas-Bahus are advertising, then why are our tiny heroes not making more money that they already do.
We have blog advertising networks, television advertising networks, radio advertising networks, newspaper networks and what not. We even have advertising on bluetooth[1] and Google has moved into Mobile advertising[2]. So why is still there no cartoon channel advertising network. I would be more than willing to put up a ShengShang on my blog, who sells stuff to people.
I am waiting for your feedback on the same. And if you do know any cartoon networks which advertise, do let me know. If there is none, maybe you can start one. You will have one customer for sure…
