About

I started Gyaan Sutra to keep in touch with the changing shape of the Indian Online Industry. As more and more companies get funded, Indian startups will eventually start innovating with much greater freedom, than is available now. It will take it’s time, but with the increasing broadband and mobile connectivity, the Indian e-commerce scenario will make one big leap. So it is important to keep the journey documented, to inspire all those who will follow behind.

As I write this, I know that we now have broadband coverage which provides a speed of up to 4Mbps, and by the end of this year, 3G mobiles would provide a download speed of 4Mbps on mobiles as well. We have far overgrown our own expectations in the last few years.

And with time, the government interference in business will go down, mindless censorship will end, Indian stock markets will stabilize and India would start leading the world Gold prices. All this would happen within our own lifetimes, and we would see India emerge from it’s own shadows.

Gyaan Sutra is here to collect the common wisdom, from successes and failures of hundreds of entrepreneurs, into a common database, freely accessible to every entrepreneur who hopes to starts up.

So if you have ideas or experience, please contact us or send us a link to your blog post or send us an article. We would be much obliged to publish it.

Cheers,
Sudhanshu
