As the current Head of GoPay (Consumer Payments) at GoTo Financial, I’ve built and scaled the GoPay app, which reached over 15% of Indonesia’s population within its first year. GoPay is a lightweight, mass-market app designed to simplify all six key financial activities: Paying, Transferring, Saving, Borrowing, Insuring, and Investing.
Over the years, I’ve held various leadership roles within GoTo, including leading product development for GoFood—the world’s largest food delivery service outside of China. Under my leadership, GoFood expanded to over 500,000 restaurants across 80+ cities in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Before joining GoTo, I co-founded Leftshift Technologies, which was acquired by Gojek in 2016. During my tenure at Gojek, the company rapidly scaled to handle 7 million daily orders within four years, solidifying its position as one of the fastest-growing startups globally.

In my role as Head of GoPay (Consumer Payments) at GoTo Financial, I’ve played a key role in the development and rapid expansion of the GoPay app. Designed to meet the diverse needs of Indonesia’s mass market, GoPay quickly became a household name, reaching over 15% of the population within its first year.
The GoPay app is engineered to be lightweight and accessible, ensuring a seamless user experience even on low-spec devices, which is critical in a market where smartphone penetration varies widely. The app integrates all six essential financial activities—Paying, Transferring, Saving, Borrowing, Insuring, and Investing—into a single platform, making it a one-stop solution for users.
GoPay’s design focuses on inclusivity and ease of use, offering features like instant money transfers, flexible savings options, accessible micro-loans, and easy-to-understand insurance plans. Additionally, the app encourages financial literacy and planning through its investment tools, empowering users to take control of their financial future, regardless of their income level.
